Oh my god you need to try it's such a fantastic experience of the city
I didn't know what to expect and only went because a friend had raved (RAVED, I tell you) about it, and, well, now I'm the one telling everyone to do it and also getting my motorbike license. So you see the side car and it looks uncomfortable and a bit scary, and the Insider immediately makes you comfortable. My driver Mounir was very kind and soft-spoken, and explained what we'd do, showed me on a vintage map, helped get the helmet on and into the sidecar and immediately, it was so much fun. Who knew? So I got the ride which is exhilarating and the sights. And the stories. And I loved it wasn't a classic guided tour of the know sites and instead quirky anecdotes. The only house in all of Marrakech that (shhh, I won't spoil it), spotting the neighbourhood bakery with its bug bread oven, discussing how daily life goes, and seeing from a unique vantage point, letting me see more easily some of the unique aspects of the Medina without fearing being spotted and annoyed (it's rare but can happen). I wish I could visit all cities like that. It's better than by bike or foot because you don't have to watch where you step or ride, the sidecar goes where cars and taxis and tour buses don't go, it's super comfortable and I felt very safe. I highly recommend it to absolutely everyone.
